Principal Mixed Signal Engineer (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Conception and Architecting Analog and Digital Signal Path for AMS Modules, partitioning the signal chain, specifying the modules and simulation to prove the concept
• Working closely with designers (both analog and digital and at times SW engineers) for implementation. Mitigation of post design issues
• Ability of mentor and guide junior engineers, handling multi-partner projects
• In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor design and architecture is a must

Your areas of expertise

• Master or PhD degree in Electronical/Electronics Engineering or related field
• Several years of adequate experience with Design & Architecture in the field of Analog Mixed Signal Circuits and Systems focusing mainly on Mixed Signal Design and Modelling. Must have a strong experience with Model Based System Architecture
• Very good understanding of signal processing and communications with focus on but not limited to High-Speed Communications and Sensor Interfaces
• Very good understanding of analog modules such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, Amplifiers etc. Hands on working experience with different kind of equalizers. Familiarity with various estimation techniques. Hands on working experience with estimating SNR, SFDR, TDH et. al
• Hands on working experience with Statistical Signal Processing and Adaptive Signal Processing is desired
• Excellent modelling skills. Hands on experience with MATLAB, C/C++. Experience with SystemC/SystemC-AMS is desired
• Experience with digital Spice or RTL design will be a plus
• Excellent intercultural communication skills as well as professional leadership. Will have to work in a multicultural and multiparter working experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Some travelling will be needed as a part of the job
