Now we are looking for a:
Chassis Brake System Senior Engineer (m/f/d) for our Automotive Engineering Laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Series-compliant design and development of chassis control functions such as ABS, TCS, ESP and further brake system related controls and functions
- Definition of system requirements, design, implementation of requirements, specifications of test and characterization
- Function integration and compliance approval towards function safety and related requirements
- Integration of functions and controls into application software in coordination with related development teams
- Support of vehicle integration and validation of developed functions and controls
- Develop strong working relationships with vehicle dynamics and vehicle development teams
- Improvement of the virtual development process, verification methods and standards
- Effectively solve brake system issues and ensure qualified deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor degree and above, major in automotive, mechanical, automation engineering.
- Experience in brake system development, deep knowledge in development process, requirement analysis, performance matching, foundation brake, hardware development, controls strategy, controls algorithm, software development, experience with brake by wire
- Well known brake system regulations, standards, functional safety requirements and system integration
- Well know vehicle controls knowledge in MIL, HIL, BUS protocol, diagnostics, etc., able to use engineering tools, i.e., CANOE/CANalyzer, VBOX, Matlab/Simulink, CarMaker, C/C++.
- Strong communication ability and make the planned deliverables happen under pressure.
- Enthusiastic to work as part of our distributed, multi-cultural, international team and fluent communication skills in English. German and/or Chinese language knowledge will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel to China (up to 25% of time).
