Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

We are looking for a working student on sound wave propagation modelling for 6G ISAC. We hope to build Huawei's next-generation leading high-trust test technologies and engineering capabilities based on trustworthy test engineering concepts, and successfully practice them in Huawei’s 5G, 5.5G, Automotive and related products to help Huawei’s products maintain the best competitiveness in the industry.

Working Student - Sound Wave Propagation Modelling (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Participate in projects for sound wave propagation modeling for smart home applications
• Participate in literature review, development and publication of sound propagation modeling tools and algorithms.
• Participate in daily workflows and processes.

Your areas of expertise

• Ongoing master study in acoustics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, telecommunication, computer science or other related fields.
• Programming skills in Python or C/C++.
• Experience with wave propagation modeling tool like ray tracing is a plus.
• Good planning and organizing skills with well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
• Fluency in English in writing and speaking is required.
• Excellent communication skills combined with team spirit and intercultural awareness for European and Asian culture.
