Cooling of electronics is an important topic where the need for high performance consumer electronics is raising with the expansion in application of AI. Piezoelectric pumps considering their high performance in small size are an interesting solution for cooling of the electronic components where packaging and weight is of vital importance. If you are passionate about electronics cooling research and would like to contribute in the development of next generation high-performance, light weight and compact consumer electronics, join us to explore our diverse and exciting ideas to tackle this problem as Master Thesis Student.
Your mission
- Review different cooling pump technologies used in consumer electronics and benchmark them.
- Develop a Multi-physics simulation model for Piezoelectric pumps.
- Run experimental tests in Huawei lab on component level to verify the developed simulation models and different physics.
- Document the findings and results.
Your areas of expertise
- Study in the field of mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Solid knowledge on simulation and modeling of mechanical structure, and/or electrostatic and/or fluid dynamics.
- Experience in development of lab setup and running tests in lab environment.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
