Automotive Standards and Regulations Engineer (m/f/d)
We are seeking a skilled candidate in automotive standards and regulations for vehicle homologation, automotive industries and ecosystem development, particularly the Automated Driving Systems (ADS) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of vehicle homologation and interest in tracking the regulations and industries development on connected and automated vehicles (CAV). Your role in a multidisciplinary team requires collaboration with our global research and development community.
Your mission
- Monitor and interpret international automotive standards or regulations, analyzing their impact on product design, development and market access.
- Support vehicle homologation processes, including type approval, OTA compliance and certification management.
- Insight on technical development and industries development of automated driving in EU.
- Establish good communication with stakeholders of CAV, build and improve industry connectivity and influence
- Participate in drafting standards or regulations and contribute to global harmonization efforts.
Your areas of expertise
- Master’s or higher degree in Automotive Engineering, Automation or a related field, with a focus on intelligent vehicle systems.
- 5+ years of experience in standardization, vehicle homologation, new car assessment programmer or market surveillance.
- Familiar with International standards (ISO, SAE), regulations (UNECE) or new car assessment programmer (Euro-NCAP).
- Strong communication capabilities. Ability to make the planned deliverables happen under pressure.
- Enthusiastic to work as part of our international team and fluent communication skills in English.
- Willing to travel to China (about 10% of time).
