Magnetic Material Simulation Researcher (m/f/d) – Leased Labor (24 months)

Your mission

• Contribute to the development, characterization, and optimization of magnetic materials for advanced components using multiphysics simulation techniques
• Conduct and evaluate basic experimental measurements to improve material performance and validate designs
• Take technical and project management ownership of innovative research topics
• Work independently while maintaining a critical and precise approach to problem-solving and data analysis
• Collaborate with the team to design and produce prototypes and samples of magnetic materials for soft and hard magnetic applications

Your areas of expertise

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Physics, Computational Science, Material Science or another domain-related disciplines
• Basic understanding of magnetism and hands-on experience with micromagnetic simulations
• Proficiency in writing scripts in Python (e.g., for data analysis or automation)
• Strong analytical skills and a precise, critical approach to research and data evaluation
• A track record of solving complex technical challenges in a structured and systematic manner
• Familiarity with simulation tools, including Multiphysics FEM software (e.g., COMSOL Multiphysics or similar) and DEM software (e.g., EDEM or similar) would be a plus
• Familiarity with advanced characterization techniques for electric magnetic materials would be a plus
• Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal
