Precision Module and Equipment Laboratory focuses on consumer product optical technologies and on making breakthroughs in architecture design for optics modules. At the same time, this laboratory is responsible for the feasibility study of innovation concept.

Senior/Principal Engineer - Sensor Application Technology Planning (m/f/d)
Your mission
- Responsible for European sensor-related technology insight, resource insight, and industry insight. In regards to the application of sensors in consumer electronics products, find relevant key technologies and top research resources, and develop project plans with headquarters experts to promote the development and incubation of technologies, contributing to next-generation products.
- Responsible for the acquisition of relevant resources in Europe considering requirements from headquarters. Find suitable local research institutions and companies in Europe for key requirements raised from headquarters. Communicate relevant requirements and plan local projects to support the smooth implementation of relevant projects in headquarters.
- Establish and expand European key resource network, establish long-term relationships with European research institutions, universities and companies, and actively participate in relevant technology insight topics and EU technology projects of the Huawei European Research Institute, and identify European technology trends.
Your areas of expertise
- Bachelor's Degree or above
- Experienced and deep understanding of various sensor principles and applications, including but not limited to mechanics, acoustics, optics, and electricity;
- Strong experience in consumer product development and technology insight;
- Capable to work in agile and dynamic innovation project environment;
- Ability for communication, coordination, and excellent interpersonal understanding
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
