Industrial PhD Student in System Software Research (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Explore high-reliability and high-performance many-core concurrency technologies for multi-core heterogeneous architectures.
• Understand industrial requirements from product teams, identify gaps with current academic solutions, and propose innovative research to bridge them.
• Brainstorm in team discussions, present designs and results, and help transform innovative solutions into reality.
• Demonstrate the feasibility of your research through real system design prototypes.
• Document and publish your research results in leading international conferences and journals.

Your areas of expertise

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of multicore programming and its challenges (performance, scalability, correctness).
• Good understanding of modern architectures (e.g., Arm and RISC-V processors, GPUs).
• Fluency in one of these languages: C, C++, Rust, CUDA, or OpenCL.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural, distributed teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
