ABOUT POSITION

To support our research activities, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Working Student / Intern / Master Thesis Student to support us to develop new concepts in the field of optical technologies, optical systems and architectures.

Start: From now on

Duration: 3 – 6 months

Your Responsibilities

• Develop Optical Design software tools, algorithms and methods for optical communications and/or automotive lighting use cases.
• Participate in writing technical reports and project summarization.
• Work and present the results in the form of documentation.

Requirements

• Registered as a Master’s student in a German University, studying optics or physics
• Be familiar with optical theory and design
• Good knowledge in optical simulation software
• Good programming skill in Python required, other programming languages as a plus;
• Team player, excellent intercultural communication skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• The office location is in Jena / Munich.
