The Applied Network Technology Lab (ANTL) in Munich is extensively involved in diverse research topics for future Ethernet technologies. The goal is to research and expedite the adoption of disruptive and high-efficiency network technologies into the data center environment.

Intern – DC Hardware Research (m/f/d)
Your mission
Learn and analyze the current industry status and future trend of Data Communication Hardware for data center applications
Review and summarize the state-of-the-art in academic conferences, standard organizations, and industry alliances
Explore High-speed link, chip cooling, power supply, programmable chip technologies to enable low-latency, high-reliability and low-power datacenter communication
Use AI tools to complete the above tasks
Your areas of expertise
Current Master's or PhD student in Computer Science, EEE, IT, or a related field
Has experience in building AI Agents, RAG, and automated workflows/retrieval systems
Has used any of the frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK, Dify, or Flowise
Has experience in prompt engineering, tool calling, evaluation, and agent debugging
Has experience in technical insights, competitive analysis, industry research, and patent/literature search
Familiar with web parsing, search interfaces, data extraction, and knowledge base construction
Has an interest in or foundational knowledge of technology sectors: semiconductors, optical communications, AI Infra, cloud computing, and advanced manufacturing
Can convert unstructured information into tables, tag systems, knowledge entries, or a traceable lead pool
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
