The Power Conversion Technology Laboratory within the Huawei’s Nuremberg Research Center is responsible for Advanced Digital Power Technology Research, Architecture Evolution Design and Strategic Technology Planning, and plays an important role in the Huawei Digital Power business in the design and development of power converters and control systems for applications such as PV Solar & Battery Energy Storage Field, Data Centers, Electric Vehicle, and Embedded Power Supply. 

Now we are looking for a

PCB and Package Layout Engineer in Power Electronics - Leased Labor 18 months (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for PCB and power package layouts
• Responsibility for building component libraries for the layout software
• Responsibility for exporting 2D/3D simulation model structures of PCB or packages
• Support of simulation engineers to optimize the simulation model
• Support of package experts, process engineers and manufacture engineers for PCB and package manufacture

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Physics or other related discipline
• Experience in power electronic applications or industry product layouts
• Experience with EDA software
• Knowledge of PCB or package layout standard, and PCB or package manufacture process and requirements is a plus
• Knowledge of general analog and digital circuitry, passive components, semiconductor, parasitic parameter of PCB and package, general power electronic characteristic, thermal management of PCB and package is beneficial
• Fluent in written and spoken English
